Tracey Andrews(Owner) "Dogs are my love and my passion. I have over 10 years’ experience managing a dog boarding and grooming kennel in Northeastern Ohio. After leasing the kennel business for 10 years I knew I found my calling. My husband and I both love the Roanoke area and relocated here to be in the country and in the mountains. I am a certified dog trainer through National K9 with a dual certification as a ForceFree Trainer. I continue to attend training seminars to further educate myself on dog training and understanding behavior. As a dog groomer I excel at handling the ‘hard to handle’ dogs and am willing to invest the time to make the grooming experience a pleasant one. I am thankful every day for being able to follow my dreams to care for and help dogs. I treat all dogs in my care as my own and provide them with love and attention. I want owners to enjoy their time away and know that their dog is happy and well cared for. Every dog should be excited to come back to our facility. Dogs live in the moment and adjust very easily to their surroundings, owners stress way more about leaving their dog behind than the dog. I want to help lessen the stress to the owner and show them that their dog is happy over their stay with me. There is so much activity in the kennel to provide your canine companion with stimulation throughout the day that when the lights are turned off for the night the dogs are tired and ready to sleep.Upon pickup, your dog will be excited to see you but be assured they are not laying around wondering where you are. They are watching all of the activity, taking in the new smells, running around free in our secured fenced area, and by nighttime tired and ready to rest. Your dog will go home tired, and may seem off for a day or two as most dogs get far more exercise and attention over their stay at the kennel and may want to rest for a day or two when they get home. My goal is to have 100% of my customers return with their dog excited to get in the building.
Note: If you have a special needs dog please contact me directly to discuss options for their care. I am open to allowing a senior dog and/or a dog that may require extra assistance to stay in our home.
